This is the most expensive shoes of the world at the moment as the shoes is made of pure gold and 2,000 diamonds. The expensive shoe is really irresistible by many shoppers and shopaholic celebrities but unfortunately the shoes is not for sale right now.
At $1555,000, it’s no great surprise these gold and diamond shoes, which are the brainchild of British jewellery designer Christopher Michael Shellis, have not had any takers since going on sale five months ago.
“The shoes have created a real buzz, but there is still a long way to go. We’ve had discussions with certain people but I can’t say who” said Shellis.
Created by a team of goldsmiths in temperatures of more than 1000ºC, each pair is made from solid gold and over 2,200 diamonds, totalling 30 carats.
The shoes would be fit for a Saudi princess – with a suitable budget and lifestyle to boot – who is looking for the next step up from her bejewelled Christian Louboutins.
“The aim of this was to create a unique form of jewellery which you can wear on your feet. It’s a bit like if you found these on an archaeological dig in thousands of years time they would be regarded as a treasure – a treasure of the feet,” added Shellis.
